The grade 4's and 5's were introduced to Breakout Boxes this year. Breakout Boxes teach critical thinking, teamwork and problem solving and the content of each breakout puzzle can be related to any class subject.
Council has purchased 6 more Breakout Boxes so that all of our classes have access to this fun learning activity.
Council has fundraised for many items that our children interact with daily. We spearheaded the iPad project to provide a class set of iPads to the school. We also purchased Chromebooks for the school's Chromebook project. Combined, these projects give our school an impressive 1:2 student to technology ratio. Many schools in our board do not have this type of access to technology.

Council has also purchased playground items for the school. Last year we funded the buddy benches you will find by the play structure and on the Junior hill.

Council funds a variety of projects each year. Along with the Breakout Boxes, we are bringing Scientists in the School to each class and paying for field trip busing for each class. Check here for updates on our projects this year.
